This porridge restaurant boasts a diverse menu that harmoniously combines traditional Indonesian flavors with comforting staples. With dishes that beckon you to return, Kedai Mandiri has cultivated a reputation for serving up delightful meals amid the scenic beauty of the West Java region.

As you step into Kedai Mandiri, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes greets you warmly. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their bubur selections—creamy rice porridge that warms the soul. Whether you opt for bubur ayam or the rich bubur kacang ijo, each bowl is a delightful blend of textures and flavors, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. The positive reviews from customers such as Hendra A Sastradinata highlight the uniqueness of flavors that keep patrons returning for more.

But the dining experience doesn't stop there. With tantalizing options like siomay and batagor, Kedai Mandiri takes a holistic approach, ensuring that every bite is a celebration of Indonesian culinary heritage. Patrons such as Dimas Dwi Ariefianto express delight in the siomay, and Kenindra Pranidya emphasizes the must-try baso tahu with its irresistible peanut sauce—the perfect blend of savory and nutty that dances on your palate.

If you find the first floor bustling with fellow diners, the second floor offers a quieter, more serene setting, complete with an enchanting view of the surrounding mountains. It’s an ideal spot for unwinding after a long journey. As Tony Fadjar points out, the dual open-air areas contribute to a relaxing atmosphere, allowing you to soak in the natural beauty while savoring your meal.

Kedai Mandiri also prides itself on efficiency without compromising quality. Customers appreciate the swift service that ensures your food arrives warm and fresh, ready to revitalize you for the day ahead. Zakaria Zamrudioko's review encapsulates this experience perfectly, noting the affordability of their diverse menu, including nasi soto—another beloved Indonesian classic.

In summary, Kedai Mandiri blends tradition and convenience, making it a must-visit during your travels through West Java. With a warm ambiance, diverse flavorful offerings, and excellent price points, it's clear why this remarkable eatery has won the hearts of many. So whether you're a frequent traveler or a local in search of comforting fare, make Kedai Mandiri a regular stop for your breakfast cravings.

...every morning drive along the Cipularang toll road, I always make time to stop at this eatery for breakfast. Serving a variety of porridge, meatballs with tofu, dumplings, and fried rice, this eatery is located in the rest area complex at km 97 B, heading towards Jakarta. The food here has a unique flavor that keeps us coming back...

You should try: Baso tahu (the peanut sauce is good ) Batagor (quiet pricey) Roti bakar (tasty and moist) If the 1st floor restaurant is crowded, you can move to 2nd floor (above Morning Glory, cross Solaria), mostly here's empty and has a better view.

Nice place to take a rest for a while when you head back to Jakarta from Bandung.. with a great taste of Siomay..

In this rest area of km.97, there are 3 places of Kantin Mandiri, I love the two with open area and good view to the mountains.

Nice non-stop restaurant with various menu, the serving is also fast.. provide warm and fresh traditional foods such as bubur ayam, bubur kacang ijo, siomay, batagor, nasi soto etc.. great place for having breakfast.. the price is also affordable..

U should try this place .. it's quite good place and the menu have friendly price sure it's tasty too .. if u like make photo for selfie or gather with family it's quite good - 15/04/2018

Good batagor and siomay. Since i am a baso lover, the baso is also good. I put baso tahu in my baso bowl and it's nice. You'll get batagor, siomay and baso campur here. That's it. The rest is ok. And eventho they have aircon, i will guarantee you'll sweat.

Favorite resto if I stop in Km 97 Rest Area, toll Cipularang from Bandung to Jakarta. It serves local food (Bakso, Siomay, anykind of porridges). It sells snacks and crackers as well. It's literally fast food but healthier compare to western fast food. The food is in affordable price, the taste is good.
